Branson, MO – The area Mended Hearts Support Group is hosting its annual pancake breakfast this weekend to benefit patients at Skaggs Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab.
After a cardiac event, such as a heart attack or surgery, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation is often prescribed to help the patient get back to a pre-incident quality of life. It’s an important part of recovery, so it can be a real problem for a patient who can’t afford to participate in rehab because they are uninsured or under-insured.
Help a patient get the rehab they need by attending a pancake breakfast, Saturday April 28, 7 to 10 a.m. at Applebee’s on Highway 76, Branson, MO. The cost is $5 per person. Tickets are available at Skaggs Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab, 1150 State Hwy 248 or at the door, the day of the event.
The benefit pancake breakfast is sponsored by Mended Hearts Support Group, which offers help, support and encouragement to heart disease patients and their families. To find out when their next meeting is, check out the online calendar at www.skaggs.net.
