United Way Hands Out Local Grants
 David Cook, Tri-Lakes United Way Advisory Board Chairman announces grants to 5 local agencies (Submitted Photo) By: Monte Schisler, News Director More than 10-thousand dollars in grant funds from theTri-Lakes United Way have been handed out to five local non-profit agencies. The grants range in value from 1-thousand dollars to 25-hundred dollars and will go to fund programs which meet basic health and human service needs of families and individuals throughout Stone andTaneyCounties. Recipients of the grant money included The OACAC Taney County Neighborhood Center, Tantone Industries, Larry Simmering Recovery Center, Faith Community Health Center and Christian Associates of Table Rock Lake.
