Branson Elementary West Principal Mike Dawson is looking forward to his move to the Monett School District.

HometownDailyNews.com first reported earlier this month that the longtime principal is resigning at the end of the school year to become Assistant Superintendent of Education Service in Monett.

In his first interview since the announcement, Dawson says his experience at Elementary West will help in his new job:
