No Severe Weather Expected This Morning

Expect pockets of moderate to heavy rainfall this morning in Stone and Taney Counties, with a few flashes of lightning.  National Weather Service meteorologist Jason Schaumann says areas to the west of us took a lot of heavy rainfall overnight, with as much as 10 inches falling west of Nevada, and west central Missouri experiencing significant flooding this morning.  Schaumann says we’ll see far less, perhaps up to an inch of rain…

Schaumann says we’re not looking at a severe weather threat this morning, but winds up to 30 or 40 miles per hour may affect southern Stone County and far southwest Taney County, along with pea-sized hail.

Schaumann says west central Missouri received as much as 10 inches of rain overnight, and that area is dealing with significant flooding this morning.
