Reeds Spring Elementary School has a new principal, and it’s someone familiar with the district. Karla Snook has been hired to take over for Tonya Cox who has announced her resignation effective at the end of the school year.
Snook was a former staff member in the Reeds Spring School District from 1999 to 2003, and worked as a middle school administrator in Crane for 8 years after that. She also, at one time, was a special education teacher in the Republic School District.
According to an online resume, Snook is currently an education consultant with E-Instruction Corporation. She received her undergraduate education degree from Missouri State, and has two other advanced education leadership degrees from the university.
Snook starts her new job July 1st.
