A Reeds Spring man facing a half-dozen counts of child molestation dating back to 2003 is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in June.
Seventy-two year old John McLaughlin was charged last month in Stone County. According to probable cause statements, McLaughlin allegedly touched two children inappropriately while they were in his home. The statement indicates the victims are now teenagers, and reported the alleged incidents to authorities in March of this year.
McLaughlin is free on 50-thousand dollars bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 12.
