National Day of Prayer Thursday; Several Local Ceremonies Scheduled

The Shell Knob Alliance of Churches will be hosting a National Day of Prayer gathering Thursday in front of Trinity Presbyterian Church on Highway 39.  The prayer gathering will include two sessions – one from 7:30 to 8:30 tomorrow morning, and then from 4:30 to 6:30 Thursday evening.

Beck says other prayer requests are also welcome.

Besides Shell Knob, other National Day of Prayer events will be held on the lawn of the Stone County Courthouse in Galena at 10 a.m., also at the flagpole at the Taney County Courthouse in Forsyth at 11:30 tomorrow.  These ceremonies are free.

In Branson the 11th annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast will take place at the Tri-Lakes Center on Highway 248 from 6:45 until 8:30 a.m. with individual tickets available for 25-dollars each, or 27-50 at the door.  For reservations call 417.334.6308.
