Branson Hopes to Name New Elementary Principal Before May 22nd
 (File Photo) By: Monte Schisler, News Director The Branson School District says it’s currently accepting applications for principal at Elementary West, with the hope of naming a replacement for Mike Dawson before school is out May 22nd. Dawson announced his resignation last month, accepting a job in Monett, to become Assistant Superintendent for Education Service. His last day in Branson is June 30th. A spokeswoman for the Branson School District says the position has been posted and interviews should start within two weeks. It’s not known how many people have applied for the opening.
