Communities and Welcome Centers across Arkansas are celebrating Tourism Week in a variety of ways, including proclamations, contests and samples of Arkansas-made products.
Harrison will feature local attractions and restaurants on Wednesday at the Welcome Center on Highway 65.
In Benton County, the Siloam Springs Welcome Center will hand out Little Debbie snacks, Cavender’s seasoning, Riceland Rice and DaySpring monthly planners.
And Fayetteville is using social media to celebrate, with a Pinterest contest to win a gift basket of local goodies.
Arkansas welcomed 23 million visitors in 2011.
