Does anyone know what the cost of this project will be? This seems rather pointless... Slough Hollow Road is merely a shortcut for most motorists going from Kissee Mills to Cedarcreek . If I remember correctly it only saves a couple minutes versus taking State Highway 160 to M highway. Even though it floods on occasion, I don't recall anyone in this area being stranded the last few times it flooded. They did something similar to this by Shadowrock Park a few years ago and the road still flooded last spring. I think it would be more appropriate for the county to finish chip-sealing the remaining gravel roads and put the rest of the money into improving roads that we actually need.
