A traffic stop by a Baxter County deputy on Saturday netted a Baxter County man who reportedly was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Thirty-one-year-old Jeremy Coleman of Mountain Home was stopped on Baxter County Road 28 near Jade Lane at 7:52 Saturday evening for committing a traffic violation. Coleman gave the deputy consent to search the vehicle and a small amount of suspected methamphetamine was reportedly found. Also found was a syringe and glass pipe.
Coleman was arrested and taken to the Baxter County Detention Center. He is charged with Possession of a controlled Substance and possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was released from custody after posting a 5-thousand dollar bond. Coleman is scheduled to appear in Circuit Court on May 9th.
