Weekend Recap

Many Lakes Area Missouri High Schools get their Spring Sports Seasons underway this weekend. Among the highlights:

-The Branson Lady Pirates Soccer Team get three wins over two days to claim the Fair Grove Soccer Tournament Title. The Lady Pirates knock off Stover on Friday 4-0 then defeat Marshfield on Saturday 2-0 before knocking off Monett in the Title Game 2-0.

-In Baseball, Forsyth wins their opener Friday at home over Reeds Spring 12-3 while Branson does the same on Saturday in the Lael Lead-off Tournament beating Nixa 7-6. Hollister splits two games at Joplin on Saturday losing the first game 4-1 then winning the second 7-6. Forsyth and Reeds Spring will take part in the Clever Right Off the Bat Tournament this week with Forsyth hosting a pool while Reeds Spring will play in the Clever Pool. Meanwhile, Branson continues play at home in the Lael Lead-off Tournament hosting Carl Junction.

Also over the weekend, College of the Ozarks takes four games from Southwestern Assemblies of God to raise their record to 15-10. The Bobcats are on the road playing four games in Tennessee this week.
