Loye Russell Rose, age 82, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017.
He was born January 18, 1935 in Barry County, Missouri the son of Johnny J. and Queen Isabella (Cargile) Rose. On February 2, 1957 he was united in marriage to Ronnie Sparkman, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Loye Rose and his wife Connie, Coy Rose and Cody Rose and his wife Starla and two daughters, Stacy Norris and her husband Rick and Nikki Faber all of Cassville, Missouri; four brothers, J.D. Rose and his wife Janet of Washburn, Missouri, Sam Rose and his wife Helen of Cassville, Missouri, John Rose and his wife Sue of Republic, Missouri and Glenn Rose and his wife Drucie of Washburn, Missouri; two sisters, Lola Vanzandt and her husband Carroll of Washburn, Missouri and Lula Patrick of Rogers, Arkansas; a sister-in-law, Mary Rose of Washburn, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Charles “Doc” Rose.
Russell graduated from high school at Washburn. For twenty-three years he was employed at Schreiber Foods in Monett and also farmed. In 1998 he retired to the farm raising cattle and horses which he dearly loved. He attended First Baptist Church in Cassville. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Saturday, July 15, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor James Weaver and Pastor Rick Cooper will conduct the services. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Cassville.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until service time Saturday at First Baptist Church in Cassville.
