Funeral services for Paula Newman-Keeling, 56 of Billings, will be Friday, July 21 at 10:00 A.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson with Pastor Bruce Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson. Visitation will be Thursday, July 20 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Paula Jean Newman-Keeling was born on December 20, 1960 in Wabash, Indiana. She was the daughter of Charles Votra and Helen (Thompson) Votra. She grew up in Branson and graduated from Branson High School. Paula married Gary Keeling on April 1, 1995 in Branson, MO.
Paula drove a school bus for the Clever school district and was a member of Clever First Assembly of God. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed caring for her family. She was a tremendous baker and cook. She enjoyed the outdoors and liked to cross stitch and play bingo.
Paula entered into rest on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, one brother David Coburn, one sister Charlene Oldaker and one step-son Kevin Keeling.
She is survived by her husband Gary Keeling of Billings; sons, Aaron Votra of Springfield, MO, Travis Newman of California and Kelly Newman of Springfield, MO; step-son, Travis Branch and wife Rachelle of Independence, MO; step-daughters, Kathy Williams and husband John of Auxvasse, MO, Christy Whittington of Jacksonville, FL and Tami Young of Jefferson City, MO; brother, Phillip Coburn of Springfield, sister, Jerry Jane Ensch of Branson; four grandchildren including Cassie Votra who Paula and Gary raised, 10 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.
