An arson investigation has uncovered an alleged theft ring, with authorities continuing to recover items reported stolen from across northern Arkansas and southwest Missouri.   

Sheriff Jimmie Russell tells Hometown Daily News.com that items reported stolen in Taney County have been recovered at a motel in Eureka Springs.

Two men are in custody, awaiting extradition to Carroll County.  Sixty-year-old Richard Basnett of Tahlequah,Oklahoma is one of the owners of the motel where some of the stolen items were found.  Also facing charges is 35 year old Jason Sears of Omaha,Arkansas, who is in custody in Taney County.  More arrests are expected.
