'Furry Friends' Fundraiser Totals
 Hollister, MO (Photo By: Sally Kaucher) By: Monte Schisler, News Director The Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society and Taney County Animal Control raised 420-dollars in cash during its recent ‘Furry Friends’ Fundraiser. 38 dollars, in what’s called Community Cash, was also donated to the two organizations. The fundraiser to collect money to help operate the humane society and animal control was held at several stores in the Branson and Hollister area. Organizers say other items such as pet food and toys were also donated during the one day event.
