Branson School Construction Projects Begin This Month

(file photo) By: Sally Kaucher Construction projects get underway this month on Branson School District campuses. The high school campus will see the most activity, with a ninth grade wing and an activity center both under construction at the same time. Parking areas will be used for construction equipment, and school district spokeswoman Brenda Romine says that means those who park at the high school will be hearing about some changes in the areas they use… Construction also begins this month on the new elementary school, located next to the intermediate school, across Buchanan Road from the high school. Voters approved a bond issue to pay for the projects last April. =====(2nd version)===== Construction begins this month on projects approved by voters for the Branson School District. Among the projects are a ninth grade wing and an activity center, both to be built on the high school campus. District spokeswoman Brenda Romine says because construction equipment will take up some areas of the high school parking lot, some temporary changes will be made… Another project will begin at the same time across the street from the high school. A new elementary school is going in next to the intermediate school.

The School district is now starting on a major major project to build buildings, at the same time the City has empty and soon to be more empty buildings on their hands.
What sense does it make to build more buildings when you have tonts of buildings sitting idle. To top that off the City has hired people to tell them what to do with those empty buildings.
Speaks well of educated people doesn't it?
