A man from Branson is due back in Stone County Circuit Court next month after waiving formal arraignment on charges of possession of child pornography and sexual exploitation of a minor.
Forty-nine year old Andrew Long entered a plea of not guilty this week. Long was arrested in November following a search of his home off Indian Point Road. Stone County detectives, working with Nixa police and the Tri-Lakes Regional Internet Crimes Task Force, say they were advised that images of child pornography were being traded from the home through the internet.
Authorities seized a computer containing more than 90 images of child sexual abuse, as well as a laptop and several homemade discs.
Long’s next court date is February 6th.
