Hollister Moves Park, Begins "Shop Local" Campaign
 By: Sally Kaucher Hollister aldermen start a new year with updates on some new projects. A small Hollister city park with a view enjoyed by many takes a shift to the north. Longview Park is at the corner of Highway 165 and Gage Drive, on land that will become part of the new Hollister campus of Ozarks Technical Community College. City Administrator Rick Ziegenfuss says rather than lose the park, the city decided to move it… Ziegenfuss says the half-acre park still offers a view to the east across Taney County as far as Kirbyville. He hopes students at the new OTC campus will also enjoy the park in the future. =====(2nd version)===== The city of Hollister is giving an online boost to local businesses. City Administrator Rick Ziegenfuss says it’s part of the city’s “Shop Local” campaign, providing a way for Hollister businesses to have a web presence at no cost, and to help shoppers find what they need in Hollister… Businesses are listed in various classifications, with maps to help you find them, and some even offer job postings.
