Jae says about a quarter of the 90 animals removed from the facility in Taney County were deemed to have severe illnesses or behavior issues, and had to be euthanized. But, she says the Humane Society is pleased that new homes will be found for most of the animals. Earlier this week, the Taney County Prosecuting Attorney told HometownDailyNews.com that no charges would be filed in the case. He said the evidence shows that the operator of the facility was known for trying to nurse sick animals back to health.
