Relay for Life Fast Approaching; Kick-Off Event January 19
 (File Photo) By: Monte Schisler, News Director The kick off party for this year’s local Relay for Life is scheduled January 19th at the Clay Cooper Theatre on Highway 76. Organizers say this is a way for new potential fundraising teams to join previous competitors and learn more about the American Cancer Society and this year’s event. The Relay for Life is scheduled for June first and second on the Branson Elementary School campus. Volunteers are also encouraged to attend the kick off party, where doors will open at 5:30 pm and the event will get underway at 6. Refreshments will be served and door prizes handed out.
