Branson police say one person was killed and two others seriously injured following a crash near the intersection of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway andRoark Valley Roadon the northwest side of the city.  No names have been released.

And KSPR is reporting that a WesternTaney County firefighter died in a traffic accident in Branson.  According to the report, the firefighter was not on call at the time of the wreck. 

The Southern Stone County Fire Protection District’s Facebook page notes that a fellow firefighter was lost in a fatal accident in Branson, and offers to provide whatever assistance is needed.
