Just 90 minutes before the filing deadline, Jack Purvis of Branson says he wants to be the next Ward Two Alderman for the city.

Purvis filed for the office, currently held by Cris Bohinc, at approximately 3:30 Tuesday afternoon. The winner will serve a two year term.

It’s the only contested race for the April ballot in Branson, as incumbent Aldermen Mike Booth is running unopposed in Ward One, and Aldermen Rick Davis doesn’t have a challenger for Ward Three.

Jack served 7 years and his only accomplishment for ward 2 was to put them in debt. are you kidding. cris has worked selflessly serving ward 2. made many changes to protect neighborhoods, seniors and more. vote cris to really have a voice.
