The federal agency investigating a deadly construction accident last year in Branson says it could still be weeks before a final report is issued.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration was called in after 41 year old Ray Strawn of Brighton was killed November 6th while working at the Palace View Resort in the 7-hundred block of Blue Meadows Road.
An OSHA spokeswoman tells HometownDailyNews.com that investigators spent several days in Branson following the accident, and the report has numerous sections that need to be completed before issuing further details to the public.
At the time of the accident, OSHA said the contractor could face fines and other penalties if the company is found to have been negligent at the construction site.
Strawn was working for a subcontractor, under the guidance of general contractor Larry Snyder Construction. Initial reports say he died after falling some 25 feet off a small fork lift.
