The Branson Board of Aldermen is scheduled to meet in regular session tonight at City Hall. The agenda for the 7 o’clock meeting includes an overview of the 2012 legislative priorities for the city, as well as discussion of lessons learned during the recent National League of Cities conference.
Board members will also take up first reading of a proposal to join the recently formed Taney County Business Development Partnership. The goal of the partnership is to bring non-tourism related businesses and jobs toTaneyCounty. Branson businessman Jonas Arjes was recently hired to head up the partnership that is being funded by the Branson Chamber,Taney County, and the towns of Hollister, Merriam Woods and Kirbyville.
