Branson Airport Announces Chicago and Houston Flights
 By: Sally Kaucher The Branson Airport will offer daily nonstop service to Chicago and Houston aboard AirTran, soon to be Southwest Airlines. The news comes just days after the announcement that Branson will be among the markets to make the conversion to Southwest. Branson Airport Executive Director Jeff Bourk says Chicago and Houston are strong visitor markets for Branson, and while they’ll start out as AirTran flights, they’ll be tied into the Southwest network… The Chicago and Houston flights will begin April 16th as AirTran destinations. The announcement comes within days of the news that Southwest is committed to serving the Branson Airport.
