An upcoming name change for a street in Branson, as the Board of Aldermen has given tentative approval to naming a section of Branson Landing Boulevard back to Long Street.  The affected area is from Business 65, east to the railroad tracks downtown.  City Hall says now that all the construction is done in the area, including the new LakeTaneycomo Bridge, it’s time to make the change. Final approval is expected in two weeks.

Geez...It is still Long St in everyone's book. This a free change? Where did the old signs go?

This will just confuse everyone again. Branson already has multiple names for the same road. Ex. Fall Creek Road and James Epps Road. Another road with 4 names: Gretna, Hwy 248, Red Route, Bob Hope Memorial Drive.
