St. Louis businessman John Brunner said on his campaign website, that the State of the Union address was merely an election year political speech, meant to distract the American people from President Obama’s three years of failed leadership.
Akin and Steelman will sit down Monday night with Hometown Radio for a Conversation with the Candidates. The 7 pm event at the Branson High School Auditorium is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 6 o’clock. The combination debate and sit down interview will be moderated by News Director Monte Schisler and will air on 100.1 FM KOMC, and stream live on HometownDailyNews.com.
Mr. Brunner has declined an invitation to participate.
