Bridge and Signal Work This Week on Highway 13 Project

Also this week, contractors are reinstalling traffic signal detector loops at theLakeshore Driveintersection, which has been pre-timed for several months now. Edensays that work could mean some lane closings, generally between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. when necessary.  The project to widen Highway 13 between Branson West andKimberlingCityis to be completed by the end of the year.

Traffic signal detector loops will be re-installed this week at the Lakeshore Drive intersection of Highway 13 in Stone County.  MoDOT spokeswoman Angela Eden says that’s good news for those who drive through the area where work continues to widen the highway to four lanes between Branson West and Kimberling City…

Also this week, upgraded traffic signals are going in at OO Highway and at Joe Bald Road.  And girders for a new bridge are being installed at the south edge of Stoneridge.  The work could mean short-term traffic stops and lane closings, generally between 9 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.  The 11-and-a-half million dollar project is to be completed by the end of the year.

As of 2/2, they STILL haven't turned on the traffic signal detector loops at Lakeshore Dr.
