Leadership Changes Within Nursing Department at Skaggs

Skaggs Regional Medical Center announces two new leadership changes within its nursing staff. Linda Zimmer, RN has accepted the new position of Skaggs Director of Patient Experience, and Doug Beckman, RN has been promoted to nursing director for the medical and post-surgical units, which includes the Skaggs Joint and Spine Center.

“Doug is respected by staff and physicians,” explains Sheryl Tilus, Skaggs Chief Nursing Officer/VP Clinical Services. “He has been very successful in leading post-surgical services and was instrumental in the design and implementation of the joint and spine center. We’re excited to have him now leading the medical unit at Skaggs.”

The new position of director of patient experience has been filled by Linda Zimmer, RN. “This important new leadership role will be responsible for all aspects of patient satisfaction,” says Tilus. “This includes daily interaction with patients, families and staff regarding the patient’s experience, and serving as the lead patient advocate. She has a passion for our community and we’re delighted to have Linda’s leadership to provide an exceptional patient experience at Skaggs.”
