Audit of Missouri State Band Program Uncovers Issues
 By: Monte Schisler, News Director An internal audit of the Missouri State University band has uncovered some issues. The Springfield News Leader is reporting that auditors found that the program failed to collect fees from all its members, and that a handful of band members weren’t enrolled in class in the fall of 2010. Auditors also found that several band members received grants, even though they didn’t meet academic requirements.
