A Kirbyville woman facing charges of Medicaid fraud will be back in court later this month following arraignment in Texas County.
Thirty year old Alethea Stemick is one of four women accused by the state Attorney General’s office of stealing by deceit. Stemick remains in the Texas County Jail on a 200-thousand dollars bond. Her preliminary hearing is set for February 27.
Also charged in the case are 47-year-old Melinda Alterauge of Branson and two women from Texas County.
