Forsyth to Hear from Taney County Business Development Partnership

The newly formed Taney County Business Development Partnership will take its message to the Forsyth Board of Aldermen tonight.

Forsyth is being asked for a 3 year funding commitment for the partnership, joining the Branson Chamber,Taney County, Hollister, Rockaway Beach, City of Branson, Merriam Woods and Kirbyville as members of the organization.  Taneyville and Bull Creek Village are also being invited to participate.

Business Development Partnership Director Jonas Arjes has been on the job for two weeks. He tells HometownDailyNews.com that he is encouraged by the positive feedback thus far:

One of the goals of the partnership is to create and sustain non-tourism related jobs in Taney County.  Arjes recently visited the State Capital to meet with local lawmakers, as well as the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

Arjes became Director of the Business Development Partnership January 23rd. His office is located in the Branson Chamber of Commerce building on Highway 248.
