Branson Assistant Police Chief Steve Dalton will be honored at a retirement reception next week.

HometownDailyNews.com reported last month that Dalton is leaving the City of Branson after 23 years to run for sheriff of Taney County.  His last day on the job is February 24.

The reception for Dalton will be held in the municipal court room at Branson City Hall on Friday, February 17 from 4 to 6 p.m.
