Add another name to the growing list of Democratic candidates for Missouri Lieutenant Governor.
Springfield State Representative Sara Lampe announced Monday that she is running for office when filing officially opens February 28th.
She joins St. Joseph native, and former State Auditor Susan Montee, former state lawmaker Judy Baker of Columbia, and Conservation Commissioner Becky Plattner of Grand Pass in the Democratic primary.
Lampe says she will tout her work on the House Budget Committee, running a small business, and her teaching career as she campaigns across the state.
Announced Republican candidates include incumbent Peter Kinder, State Senator Brad Lager of Savannah and Attorney Mike Carter of St. Peters.
