The Reeds Spring Saddle Club is converted into festival grounds for the 5th Annual Wilderness Road Festival, which got underway this afternoon despite rainy weather.
Organizers are excited about this year's lineup of storytellers, musicians, reenactments and special tributes.
The purpose of the event is to celebrate the colorful history of the post-Civil War era Ozarks, and the region's most important roadway.
