"Solid Gospel for the Ozarks"

AM 1220 KOMC has been a part of Ozark Mountain Country for many decades as reflected in its call letters. KOMC provides hometown programming including the Garage Sale, which has been a fixture on the radio dial for over 25 years. Hometown Radio Veterans Scott McCaulley and Greg Pyron host and produce the program which gives listeners a chance to buy, sell, and trade with their neighbors in the Lakes Region. Sam Clanton and Sally Kaucher continue KOMC’s tradition of local news with  updates from the Hometown Radio News Source plus comprehensive weather coverage for all of the Lakes Region.

Ozark Mountain Country has always been an area of strong faith and with that in mind; KOMC became Solid Gospel AM 1220 in 1999, providing the best in Southern Gospel Music from the legends to the current stars. Solid Gospel also features the popular music of Bill Gaither on Gaither Homecoming Radio and mixes in Gospel Bluegrass with the popular weekend program Front Porch Fellowship. Solid Gospel AM 1220 also covers special events like the National Quartet Convention.

AM 1220 KOMC is also your Baseball Station for the Lakes Region, featuring coverage of Area High School and College Baseball with Sports Director Scott McCaulley.  And, beginning with their inaugural season, AM 1220 became the voice of the new Hollister Tiger Football program.
