More area golfers have qualified for High School Sectional Competition after District Tournament play on Tuesday.

Anthony Schreier of Hollister placed fourth at the Class 2 District in Marshfield finishing five shots back. Schreier along with teammate Blake Woods and Forsyth's Turner Paydon will play in the Class 2 Sectional in Springfield next week. Also, Canyon Clevenger of Crane qualifed at of a Class 1 District to move on to next week's Sectionals. Earlier this week, Michael Gibson and Nickalus Carley of Branson moved through to the Sectional round.

Meanwhile, four area Track Athletes placed in the top three at the Missouri State University Relays in Springfield Tuesday. Aaron Allphin of Reeds Spring took home a First Place Medal in the High Jump and Finished Second in the Long Jump. Jordan Britton of Hollister grabbed third place finishes in the Long and Triple Jumps. On the girls side, a pair of second place finishes for Hollister's Hannah Smith in the Long Jump and Catherine Herd in the Discus.
