The Branson Pirates claim the Central Ozark Conference Large Division Baseball Championship as Sam Perez pitched a three hit shutout leading the Pirates to a 1-0 win over the Willard Tigers at Pirate Park. The Pirates got the only run of the game off of Willard starter Anthony Cannapeel in the third inning as Tyler Whiteis hit a two out double scoring Lake Keller from first base. Perez struck out eight and walked nobody in getting the win. The Pirates are 15-7 and will play their final home game of the regular season next Monday against Springfield Glendale.
