Delilah E. Brown, 94, of Springfield formerly of Kimberling City passed away on Tuesday, December 3 at The Maples in Springfield. Burial will be at a later date in Cambridge, Ohio. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.
Booker Cox Jr. passed away Saturday, November 30th at the age of 79 after a long battle with cancer. He was a lifelong resident of Blue Eye, AR where he owned and operated a cattle ranch. He was married to Carolyn Huskey on June 25, 1963. A true love story, they met at church and were happily married for 50 years. A son of Booker Cox Sr. and Charlene Cox, he was born on May 13, 1934 at the family homestead in Blue Eye, AR.
Verna Lee (Redfern) Dickenson ,90, a longtime Springfield resident passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Ozark Nursing and Care Center. Verna was born August 16, 1923 in Taneyville, MO the youngest child of Virgil and May (Brown) Redfern. She had two sisters, Violet Matthews and Velma Ingenthron.
Memorial services for Dr. Richard Will Holman age 80 of Branson, Missouri will be held at a later date in Kansas. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
Vernon Allan Elliott, age 73, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Cassville Health Care and Rehab in Cassville. Mr. Elliott, son of Vernon and Kathryn (Alexander) Elliott, was born on March 14, 1940, in Wichita, Kansas. After high school Mr. Elliott enlisted in the United States Army, serving his country proudly. Mr. Elliott was united in marriage to Patricia Loveland in 1962; she preceded him in death in 2000. After several summer vacations to the Ozarks, Mr. Elliott decided to move and make his home in Shell Knob. There he owned and operated Elliott's Chimney Sweep, The Kozy, and A and J Storage for many years, until he retired. In July of 2013 he was united in marriage to Etta Sorensen, who survives.

Francis E. Foxen, age 88, of Cassville, Missouri, formerly of Prunedale, California, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013 in his home. Mr. Foxen was born on March 18, 1925, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Charles A. and Blanche (Sonnen) Foxen.
