Jakie (Jake) L. Lasiter was born to Finis and Maggie Bell Lasiter on July 23, 1955. He was the 3rd of 4 children and the oldest son. Jakie passed from this life on September 16, 2014 at the age of 59 years.

She was born November 17, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, to parents Arnold Tranter, Sr., and Audrey (Zeller) Krause. Arrangements are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Richard Lee Bassett, 82 of Forsyth, MO had a heart attack while giving a eulogy for his mother-in-law’s memorial service in Greenfield, Iowa on August 15, 2014. As were his wishes, he was cremated. A Celebration of “Dick’s” life will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 23, 2014 in the Calvary Church of Forsyth.
Melvin Erwin "Mel" Taxis, age 92 of Branson, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at The Rose House in Branson. He was born March 22, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois. Elmer Arlin “Tuffy” Himes, age 59 of Forsyth, Missouri, passed away at home Sunday, September 14, 2014. He was born April 8, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tuffy was the son of Earl C. Himes, Sr. and Loretta Mae (Speaks) Himes. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
Memorial service for Kenneth M. Hensiek “Ken”, 75, Hollister, will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 5:00 P.M. in the Open Doors United Methodist Church of Blue Eye. Church location is 6238 E. State Hwy 76, Blue Eye, Mo. Pastor Jack Smith and Pastor Alan Schmitt will officiate. The body has been cremated under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home. Mr. Hensiek passed away September 12, 2014 in Hollister.
Lonnie Eugene Brown was born April 22, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas. He was the son of Kenneth LeeRoy Brown and Rosalene A. (Ledbetter) Brown. He grew up in Kansas and earned an Associate’s Degree in El Dorado, KS. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp.
