Huckabee In Branson For Yellow Ribbon Medal; Visits Hometown Radio

Former Arkansas Governor, and current FOX TV talk show host Mike Huckabee is being honored by Branson entertainer Tony Orlando with the Yellow Ribbon Medal of Freedom. Orlando will host The Yellow Ribbon Salute as part of Branson Veterans Homecoming Week at the Welk Resort Theatre where the award will be presented this afternoon.  Huckabee visited the studios of Hometown Radio earlier in the day, and in an exclusive interview with HometownDailyNews.com, said he was honored to receive the award.


Christian Associates Radiothon 10/19/11

When life hurts, $20 helps.

Hometown Radio helped raise over $15,000 for Christian Associates during an all-day Radiothon on 106.3 FM KRZK and 100.1 FM KOMC. Several Branson area entertainers joined in to help.

Chocolate Lover's Festival 2011

The 2011 Chocolate Lover's Festival was held at Best Western Inn on February 11th and 12th in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Some of the Hometown Radio Crew couldn't help but visit.

Steve and Janet Bahamas Cruise 2011

Ahhhhh...smooth seas, gorgeous sunsets and the Caribbean in the winter, there's not a better way to chase away the bad weather blahs!  Travelers with Hometown Radio's "Steve and Janet" cruise enjoyed a wonderful week of fun in the sun with stops in Nassau and Freeport, Bahamas and Key West.  Re-live some special moments of the trip with our photo gallery.


Celebrating with Scottie

Bad weather caused the postponement of  a surprise birthday party for Hometown Radio General Manager, Scottie Earls 3 times.  Finally the sun came out and so did the well-wishers for Mrs. Earls belated party.  A delicious cajun themed lunch of seafood gumbo and muffalata sandwiches, along with red velvet cupcakes, prepared by Carefree Catering,  was enjoyed by the birthday girl, radio station emplyees and friends.


Ozarks Honor Flight September 2010

Matt Duncan flew to Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, September 21st, 2010, as a guardian for the Ozarks Honor Flight. Duncan accompanied Albert Schultz of Wheatland, Missouri, one of several dozen veterans who received a free trip to the World War Two Memorial and other sites around our nation's capitol.
