Alan Lee Zluticky

Alan Lee Zluticky, age 67, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his home.

He was born January 14, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas the son of James and Fronia (Gibson) Zluticky, who preceded him in death.



Alan is survived by son Brent Zluticky and his wife Kristen of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren, Madelyn and Parker of Wichita, Kansas; daughter Janelle Zluticky of Wichita, Kansas; brother Jim Zluticky and his wife Marlena of Wichita, Kansas and brother Steve Zluticky of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by Kathy Zluticky of Wichita, Kansas, his wife for 46 years, many nieces and nephews, and Denise Ramirez, of Shell Knob, Missouri.


Alan grew up in Kansas and graduated from Wichita South High School. For many years he was employed as a machinist for Brittain Machine in Wichita. He was an avid KU Jayhawks fan. He was of the Baptist faith. One year ago he moved to Shell Knob to make his home. Some of his favorite pastimes were boating, fishing and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed the Shell Knob area and visiting with his neighbors.


The family will hold memorial services at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Shell Knob.
