Albert Leon “Buster” Roller
Albert Leon “Buster” Roller, age 65, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at his home.
He was born January 9, 1955 in Wheaton, Missouri, the son of Glen and Patsy (Stewart) Roller. On August 14, 1978 he was united in marriage to Debbie Hayworth, who survives. Also surviving are his parents, Glen and Patsy Roller of Seligman, Missouri; one daughter, Jessica Thomas and her husband Michael of Rogers, Arkansas; one brother, Rodney Roller and his wife Kris of Monett, Missouri; three grandchildren, Landrie, Garrett and Averie Thomas and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents.
Buster grew up and received his education in Washburn, where he graduated from Southwest High School. For many years he worked as a railroad engineer and also enjoyed carpenter work and cattle farming. Some of his favorite pastimes were playing bluegrass music and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Washburn First Baptist Church where he enjoyed being a song leader, Sunday school teacher and Deacon.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Washburn, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Reverend Glenn Erwin and Reverend Jim Erwin will conduct the services. Burial will be at Dent Cemetery in Seligman.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM Saturday at First Baptist Church in Washburn.
