Allen Leroy Koski
Allen Leroy Koski, age 62, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away June 27, 2019, peacefully at his home with family by his bedside. He entered this life December 18, 1956, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Helen (Grafton) Koski. His father and a brother-in-law, Glenn Heinrich have preceded him in death. Allen was joined in marriage June 17, 2017 to Jessel Limpag. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
Being diagnosed with multiple health issues at a young age, Allen never let things get him down and he kept his sense of humor and work ethic up until the very end. It took him 10 years to earn his bachelor’s degree from College of the Ozarks. This is a testament to how determined he was to finish what he started. He was a happy man with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed collecting coins, fishing, and making people laugh. Allen had a strong Christian faith and attended Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church in Forsyth, Mo. His love of family was central to who he was. The memories made and the love shared will be kept in many hearts for years to come.
Allen is survived by his wife of two years, Jessel Koski of the home; mother, Helen Koski of the home; brother, Steven (Maria) Koski of Pleasant Hills, California; brother, Jerry (Paula) Koski of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Christine (Jerry) Colborn of Stillwater, Oklahoma; sister, Deborah Heinrich of Palmview, Texas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rizalina and Delmacio Limpag of Ronda, Philippines; and many nieces and nephews.
