Annelies Anna Wagner
Annelies Anna Wagner (born Annelies Anna Häuser) was born on May 25, 1935 in Germany. She passed away peacefully in her home in Galena, Missouri on October 27, 2019 at the age of 84.
Annelies grew up in Germany. Petite and small in stature, she had a very detail-oriented and fiery personality, with clear expectations of herself and others. Though she was quiet and shy on the outside, she was loyal, passionate and had a fervent spirit. At a young age, she met Edgar Wagner at her place of work in Traunreut, Germany. They got married and soon after she gave birth to a son. Annelies also gave birth to a second child - a baby girl. Edgar and Annelies fell in love with America and decided to remain permanently and obtain their citizenship. Annelies enjoyed her job in Chicago at Jewel, as well as her role as a homemaker and mother to their two children.
In their middle-aged years, Edgar and Annelies bought a lake house in Galena, Missouri, which was closer to friends and family.
Annelies was a wonderful, caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She doted on her grandchildren and took her role as grandmother particularly seriously. She was an incredible hostess and thoroughly enjoyed cooking and baking for friends and family. She will be unimaginably missed, and her memories and legacy will live on in her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ignaz and Elfriede Häuser. She is survived by her husband, Edgar Wagner, and by her children, Robert Wagner together with his wife, Denise Wagner, and Marion Winkler together with her husband, Hans Winkler. "The wonderful thing about praying is that you leave a world of not being able to do something and enter God's realm where everything is possible. He specializes in the impossible. Nothing is too great for His almighty power. Nothing is too small for His love." -Corrie Ten Boom
