Betty Ann Sisson

Betty Ann Sisson, age 79, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away tragically Thursday, April 2, 2020. She entered this life January 9, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Gerdan and Ruby (Garrett) Arnold. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Loving the Branson area, and having a gift for working with people, Betty used her abilities at “The Shack” for over fifteen years waiting and serving. She was very well-known and loved by all who met her. Betty was gifted at making quilts and liked traveling with her husband, Jim, before his passing. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Many memories have been tucked away in the minds of the lives she has touched over the years. Smiles will come upon their faces when thoughts of Betty come to mind.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Sisson; and two brothers: Bill Arnold and Jimmy Arnold.

She is survived by her two sons: David Janik and Eugene Janik, both of Hollister, Missouri; two grandchildren: Joey and Shelby Janik; great-grandchild, Josie Janik; and a sister, Linda Martin of Dover, Tennessee.

A celebration of Betty’s life is being planned for a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Branson Humane Society
