BettyJo Anne Parham

BettyJo Anne Parham, age 54, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Sunday May 24, 2020. She entered this world June 11, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of James and Patty (Luckey) Delaney. Betty Parham

With a generous heart Betty was often found teaching others to do taxes and taking her friends to the casino. Her mentoring made her district the top earner of the region for H&R Block where, she worked since 1993. Betty’s favorite escape was the beach, her place to retreat to soak in the sun and ocean breezes. Most of all, she loved her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Betty is survived by her husband of nearly 31 years, James Parham; two daughters: Brandi Nicole Yannes of Kansas City, Missouri, and Kimberly Ann Parham of Gladstone, Missouri; two grandchildren: Adrian James and Sophie Anne; mother, Patty Delaney of Omaha, Nebraska; two brothers: Charles Delaney of Stockton, Missouri, and Jimmy Delaney-Stephens of Omaha, Nebraska; five sisters: Renae Delaney of Omaha, Nebraska, Jennifer Walkingstock of Omaha, Nebraska, Sherry Hull of Lockwood, Missouri, Stacy Friis of Omaha, Nebraska, and Lou Anne Johnson of Brockton, New York; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org), a cause she felt passionate about.
