Beverly Ann Meister

Beverly Ann Meister, age 80, of Blue Eye, Missouri, passed away April 24, 2021. She was born January 16, 1941, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of LeRoy and Philomena (Deitring) Ostwinkle. Beverly was joined in marriage September 16, 1965, to William “Bill” Meister.

Early in life, she attended Grandview College and Mercy School of X-Ray Technology.

Beverly and Bill moved from Des Moines to San Diego in the mid 60’s. Together, they enjoyed US and international travel. In July 2000, they retired to the Branson area. She enjoyed collecting and selling antiques and Southwest Indian Art. Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who loved her two dogs, Lulu and Emma. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Barbara A. Kelley; and brother, Bob Ostwinkle.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bill Meister of the home; two children: William F. Meister Jr. of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Elizabeth A. Scott of Winchester, California; five granddaughters: Katelyn, Parker, Pearl, Opal and Chloe; brother, James Ostwinkle of Hollister, Missouri; and sister, Jolene Ostwinkle of New Orleans, Louisiana.

A memorial gathering will be held 2:00-4:00 PM, Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Cremations of the Ozarks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Beverly may be made to your local animal rescue shelter. Services and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
