Brian Scott Davis

Brian Scott Davis, age 61, of Lampe, Missouri, passed away May 22, 2021. He entered this life on November 30, 1959, in Stanton, California, the son of William and Virginia (Winters) Davis. He is preceded in death by his loving parents and grandparents. Brian was joined in marriage on January 16, 2008, to Kay Fleming.

Brian commanded attention from crowds as the master of ceremonies at Dolly Parton's Stampede with his proud black stallion, Niko, who would prance to the center of the arena. Being in the entertainment industry, Brian was also a talented singer and performer. He took great pride in creating lively, memorable experiences for many audiences through the years. His friendliness earned him the name Papa Bear by everyone who knew him. Brian will be dearly missed by family and friends near and far.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirteen years, Kay Davis; daughter, Ashley (Dustin) Stark of Las Vegas, Nevada; son, Dustin (Amanda) Bray of Phoenix, Arizona; and sister, Dara (Mark) Lockett of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; niece Lauren Lockett; two nephews: Bryce (Alicia) Lockett and their two children, and Joseph Lockett.
