Cecilia Theresa Smith

Cecilia Theresa Smith, age 80, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away January 14, 2020. She was born December 16, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John and Catherine (Schinow) Campbell. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Cecilia was a true “Philly Girl.” She worked as a salesperson in a candy store. Devoted to her faith, Cecilia was part of the St. Denis and St. John’s Catholic Churches in Pennsylvania. She loved Texas Roadhouse and Red Lobster. She especially loved her friends and family. Known as Aunt Cecilia or Aunt Cel, she will be missed, and memories of her will be treasured.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Smith; three sisters; a brother; one nephew; and one niece.

Cecilia is survived by three nieces: Marie Houck, Catherine Murphy, and Roseann Murphy; two nephews: Chuck Crane and Michael Crane; two great nieces: Maria (Darin) Finch and Jasmine Murphy; two great nephews: Dave (Stacey) Houck and Nick Murphy; great-great nieces and nephews: Mike, Kate, Brandi, and Jordilyn; and five great-great-great nephews and nieces.

Mass Intention for Cecilia Smith will be at 5:00 p.m. February 8, 2020, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Branson, Missouri.
